General info : | | Giorgio Manzardo (died April 29th 2009, in Rome, Italy) was an Italian art collector and dealer.
Together with Carla Mendini he founded the Galleria Giulia in Rome on March 5th 1971, a gallery located Via Giulia 148, in the heart of Renaissance Rome, a stone's throw away of the Farnese Palace, that would become a spot highly frequented by the most cultural part of the Roman artistic scene during the following decades.
Since 2008 the gallery was headed by Riccardo Cerioni.
His collection was published in the 2002 book "Catalogo d'Asta Finarte La collezione Giorgio Manzardo Roma". | |
