General info :
Galleria Giulia is the business name used by an art gallery in Rome.
The Galleria Giulia was founded in Rome on March 5th 1971 by Carla Mendini and Giorgio Manzardo.
Since 2008 the gallery is headed by Riccardo Cerioni, assisted by Cristiana Lo Bue.
Over the years, there have been a series of excellent historical exhibitions dedicated, both to individual protagonists, and to groups and movements: George Grosz, Otto Dix, Wassily Kandinsky, the expressionists in general and with them Austrian art; and then again Oskar Kokoschka, Fratz Wotruba, Paul Flora, Alfred Kubin, Katje Kollwitz.
However, alongside the figurative, they also went for highly controversial exhibitions with names such as: Bruno Caruso, Carlos Mensa, Titina Maselli, Lorenzo Tornabuoni, Fernando Arroyo, Gloria Argelés, Pedro Cano and others.
