General info : Eric Boman is a Swedish photographer and author. Originally from Sweden, Eric has worked in London, Paris, and New York for, among others, Vogue, Marie-Claire, Yves Saint-Laurent, Vanity Fair, The World of Interiors, and House & Garden. Eric's work has featured on many musical releases, including Roxy Music's Country Life (1974), Bryan Ferry's Another Time, Another Place (1974), Power Station's debut album Power Station and The Best Of The Power Station (2003). Since 1988, Eric who lives in New York has increasingly explored art photography and still-lifes. In 2005 he published the book Blahnik by Boman: Shoes, Photographs, Conversation.

Originally from Sweden, Eric has worked in London, Paris, and New York for, among others, Vogue, Marie-Claire, Yves Saint-Laurent, Vanity Fair, The World of Interiors, and House & Garden. Eric's work has featured on many musical releases, including Roxy Music's Country Life (1974), Bryan Ferry's Another Time, Another Place (1974), Power Station's debut album Power Station and The Best Of The Power Station (2003). He made his way to London in 1966 to study graphic design at the Royal College of Art. Since 1988, Eric who lives in New York has increasingly explored art photography and still-lifes. In 2005 he published the book Blahnik by Boman: Shoes, Photographs, Conversation. Boman died of pancreatic cancer at Long Island Community Hospital in Patchogue, New York. He is survived by his long time partner, artist Peter Schlesinger.
