General info :Vogue (US) Managing Editor since April 8th 2013. Previously "New York" Deputy Editor for +- 10 yearsJon Gluck is an American editor. In 2019 he was named Editorial Director, Special Projects at Medium in New York. In 2017 Hearst Magazines has hired Jon Gluck away from Condé Nast, where he was the managing editor of Vogue since 2013, for the newly created position of executive director of editorial talent, development and special projects. Previously, he served for ten years as the Deputy Editor of New York Magazine. He was also the founding Editor-In-Chief of the startup legal publication JD Jungle and a Senior Editor at Men’s Journal magazine. His work has been recognized with multiple National Magazine Awards and other industry honors. As a writer, he contributes regularly to publications including The New York Times, the San Francisco Chronicle, and Bloomberg. He holds a master’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University’s Medill School and a bachelor’s degree in English from Amherst College. He also serves as a mentor for the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center’s Invisible Ink program, and lives in New York City with his wife and two children. Jon is an alumnus from Amherst College where he earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English in 1987. Additionally he studied at the Medill School of Journalism, Northwestern University where he earned a M.S. degree in Journalism in 1991.
