Tässä toisessa kokoelmassa Moore jatkaa olennon kertomusta viemällä hahmon kauhun ytimeen... ja sen tuolle puolen. Kokoelma sisältää Mooren kehutuimpiin luomuksiin kuuluvat tarinat "Alas kuolleiden joukkoon" sekä "Pog". Osa näistä sarjakuvista suomennetaan nyt ensimmäistä kertaa. Mooren sävähdyttävää, kammottavaa ja yllättävää kerrontaa myötäilevät hienosti Stephen Bissetten ja John Totlebenin houreiset piirrokset. Tähän kokoelmaan esipuheen on laatinut palkittu romaani- ja sarjakuvakirjoittaja Neil Gaiman.
