Description (by producer & GT in English only) :
Papegaei is a blond beer with an alcohol volume of 8%. The beer is lightly drinkable and has a rich bouquet of hops. Papegaei is brewed with fresh hop flowers, which means that the flowers are dried but not turned into an extract or pellets, so they keep their natural form (and taste!). The mash of Papegaei contains barley, wheat and oats. Papegaei is a top fermented beer with a second fermentation in the bottle. The beer is neither filtered nor pasteurized. Papegaei is brewed and bottled by Adam Verstraete at the Deca brewery in Woesten. Papegaei is available in bottles of 0,33L and 0,75L.
