Het is verschrikkelijk op te groeien in de “Stad van God”‚ een arme buitenwijk in Rio De Janeiro, die jarenlang bekend stond als dé gevaarlijkste buurt ter wereld. Zeker niet als je eigenlijk fotograaf wil worden en niets met het criminele milieu te maken wil hebben.
