| General info : | | Roberto Franzoni (born on 1 March 1947 in Milan, Italy) is an Italian writer and lecturer, especially on the nautical world and automotive design.
He has been working in the nautical world since 1972: in chartering, with two sailing boat hire companies; in publishing, having owned and managed La Libreria del Mare in Milan, having written several guides for land and sea, books on shipbuilding and having edited three nautical magazines, Uomo Mare, Barche and Yachts Italia; in ports, having built the Emerald Cove marina in Antigua; in marketing, as director of strategic marketing and communication at Cantiere Sanlorenzo; in trade fairs, dealing with the promotion and marketing of the Genoa Boat Show, Seatec and Yare.
He has written sea books and guides for De Agostini, Editrice Compositori, Electa, Mondadori, Touring Club, Yachting Library.
