General info : Eddie Ryle-Hodges (born 1939 - died October 2001) was a photographer of landscapes, fashion and portraits who worked in Teesdale and London. In 1969, he became a professional photographer. In the 70s he worked for British Vogue. He became strongly associated with heavy industry and technology, with clients including British Gas, Blue Circle and Hargreaves. Assignments for companies such as Shell took him to Kenya, Jamaica and Guyana. In 1997 lived at Brignall Mill, Barnard Castle, Co Durham, England. He is a great great grandson of William Barnard Rhodes who built "the Grange", Wadestown, Wellington, and was an older brother of Robert Heaton Rhodes.
