| General info : | | Samson is a brand of rolling tobacco that was launched on the market by Van Nelle. Later, it was produced by Koninklijke Theodorus Niemeyer BV in Groningen, which was subsequently acquired by British American Tobacco PLC.
Samson Halfzwaar is nowadays called Original Taste, or in Belgium, Original Blend, as it is nowadays forbidden to use misleading terms for rolling tobacco such as light rolling tobacco or light cigarettes.
Compared to other brands, such as Drum or Van Nelle, Samson has a sweetish taste. | |
