| General info : | | Phaedra Hoste (born 28 August 1971 in Bruges, Belgium) is a Belgian former fashion model and television presenter. Hoste began as a model at the age of sixteen and remained active until 2008.
She appeared on the cover of various magazines and in features.
In 1991, Hoste began working in television as an assistant on the game show De juiste prijs and later at Studio Gaga on VTM. After that, she went to work for the VRT. Together with Sergio, she presented the program Vliegende start (1999-2001) on the then- Tv1 and contributed to De Rode Loper.
Her first major presenting assignment was for VT4, the program Mediamadammen. In the program, she went in search of showbiz news, attended film premieres, and interviewed big stars. She presented the program with Tanja Dexters and Deborah Ostrega.
In 2003, Hoste presented a lifestyle program, Trendies, on the Dutch channels Net5 and SBS6
From January 31, 2007, she was one of the contributors to the Wednesday evening program Splash! on the commercial channel VTM.
In the autumn of 2008, Hoste participated in De Slimste Mens ter Wereld. She lasted two episodes, winning the title of Slimste Mens ter Wereld once.
Furthermore, Hoste has participated in programs such as Het Swingpaleis, Let's Dance, and De Nationale Test. | |
