General info : Nobi Kashiwagi (born and raised in Shizuoka, Japan) is an Art Director and Graphic Designer. In 1995, Nobi Kashiwagi moved to New York City from Japan to study photography at Parsons School of Design where he graduated with a Bachelors in Fine Art. Nobi began his career at the acclaimed fashion-advertising agency AR New York. He has worked on many different projects across advertising, branding and editorial design including, Versace, Dolce & Gabbana, Calvin Klein, Brioni, Asprey, Brooks Brothers, Jones New York, St. Regis Resort & Hotels and the Surry Hotel and Influences Magazine which received a Typographic Excellence at TDC and Distinctive Design merit at ADC. He also worked on editorial page design for Steven Meisel for Vogue Italia. In 2011, he started his own studio and worked on accounts such as P&G prestige, Rizzolo Publications, Engineered Garments. In 2014, Nobi joined Vogue Conde Nast designing editorial pages with fashion editors each month. Nobi also holds the black belt in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu. He resides in the Greater New York City Area.
