| General info : | | Mackenzie Records was a record label name owned by Sufamaco SPRL, a music recording company founded in 1991 by Jean-Pierre Fasseau and located in Herne, Belgium.
It mainly released work by The Mackenzie, a Belgian band best known for their collaboration with singer Jessy De Smet as 'The Mackenzie Featuring Jessy".
The band was formed in 1989 by Patrick Fasseau and Stéphane Akenan.
Jessy De Smet would join in 1995 and together they would release the formation's best known tracks like I Am Free (1995), Without You (Arpegia) (1995) and All I Need (2000).
Jessy would leave the formation in 2001.
The Sufamaco company filed for bankruptcy in 2015. | |
