Dimitri "Vegas" Thivaios (born May 16, 1982 in Mechelen, Flanders, Belgium) is best known as half of the brotherly DJ duo Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike.
He is also an actor.
He started out by making some remarkable television cameos on European TV- programming and local films. He recently starred in the European blockbuster "Gangsta" by 'Bad Boys 3' Directors Adil El Arbi & Billal Fallah, as well as Jean-Claude Van Damme's gritty action movie 'Lukas' and the upcoming 'Rambo V : Last Blood' alongside Sylvester Stallone, while also appearing in the latest installment of Mortal Kombat as the voice and face of fan-favorite Sub-Zero and as an alien in Men In Black : International.
Dimitri then left Flanders in 1999 and began touring Europe. He lived in Mallorca and then in Halkidiki, Greece before moving to Ibiza in 2003, where he was a resident in major clubs such as Privilege and Space.
In 2017, Dimitri Vegas married Belgian-born DJ and producer MATTN in Ibiza. | |
