He started his career as Assistant Art Director in 1973 and moved on to the newly launched magazine Dépèche Mode in 1975 where he would serve as Layout Chief till 1982.
In 1982 he was named Art Director at the magazine Jacinte of Groupe Média and held that postion till 1986.
Since then Philippe works as a freelance layout professional.
