He graduated in 1982 from the HRITCS where he earned a degree in image and sound editing.
He is a double-winner of an Ensor - the "Flemish Magritte" - and worked with the Brothers Dardenne (Je pense à vous), Gerard Corbiau (Le Roi Danse), Erik Van Looy (De Zaak Alzheimer, Loft, De Premier ) , Jan Verheyen (Dossier K., Le Verdict), Vincent Bal (Brabançonne ... ) and Stijn Coninx (Daens, Marina).
He is the president of the Belgian editors association Montage.be, founded in 2017.
