General info : Sunlight Studios is a recording studio in Stockholm, Sweden which is run by Tomas Skogsberg. It has been a popular choice for Swedish death metal bands such as Dismember, At The Gates, Entombed, Grave, Katatonia and Tiamat. The studio became most famous for recording an abundance of Swedish death netal bands in the late 80s/early 90s and defining the Swedish death metal guitar tone. Because of this particular tone/sound it became known as the "Sunlight-Sound“ or "Stockholm-Sound“. Notable assistant engineers that worked at the studio are Fred Estby and Jocke Petterson.
