General info : Brockum is an American fashion brand from Brockum Company focusing on music and concert merchandising. Brockum Company was an operating division of Krimson Corporation, a New Jersey corporation having its principal place of business in New York City. Brockum is engaged in the manufacture, distribution and sale of various types of merchandise sold and distributed at concerts of musical performing artists and groups, as well as through retail establishments which embody the names, likenesses and/or trademarks of musical performers or groups. The printing during the 1980s was done by Ocean Atlantic Textile Screen-Printing, Inc., known as OATS, Inc., a company founded in 1982 with headquarters in Cape May Court House, N.J.. OATS did the printing for Brockum, a New York City company that markets rock-tour merchandise, according to Jerry Klause, company president of OATS. Brockum obtains the legal rights to use an artist's name and contracts with OATS on the number of shirts and where the shirts are to be sent. Klause said the shirts go throughout the world, mostly to record stores and concert halls. Brockum is the exclusive licensee of the right to make and distribute T-shirts and other merchandise bearing the name, likenesses, trademarks, tradenames and associated logos connected with or owned by bands such as the Rolling Stones and AC/DC, or companies which have acquired rights from bands such as the Rolling Stones or AC/DC. For instance Brockum acquired such rights from BCL Finance (Ireland) Limited, which in turn acquired its rights from Promotour US, Inc. Promotour US, Inc. acquired such rights from Musidor B.V. The latter two companies are related to the Rolling Stones.
