General info : | | Wim Baggelaar (born in the Netherlands - died June 10th 2008 in Saint Francois, Guadeloupe (aged 79)) was a Dutch photographer.
He started his career at Hamelberg.
He founded Studio Baggelaar with his partner Kees Thijssen in the 1960s.
The company worked for all the major advertising agencies of that period. Morton Kirschner's KVH was one of the best known.
Photographer and filmmaker Jurriaan Eindhoven worked for Baggelaar for five years early in his career.
Studio Baggelaar provided the images for the well-known wool campaign "Liever Naakt dan Namaak" (Rather Naked Than Fake). The photographer also worked for magazines like Panorama and created the images for Ivan Baker's Vegetarian Cookbook. Photos by Baggelaar were featured in the first Dutch Playboy magazine (1983).
