| General info : | | Hermila Roberta Pires Guedes (born November 27, 1980 in Cabrobó, Brasil), better known as Hermila Guedes, is a Brazilian actress.
She is one of the most awarded actresses in Brazilian cinema.
Born in Cabrobó, Pernambuco, Hermila moved with her younger sister Hermana to Olinda at the age of 10, after her father, a police officer, was murdered.
She studied Tourism and, later, Literature at UFPE.
Hermila was married to actor Tatto Medini, with whom she has a daughter, Celina, born in 2008. She is currently married to police officer Roberto Wanderley, with whom she has two more daughters, Stella and Helena.
She worked at a travel agency until she was offered a test for the short film O Pedido, by Adelina Pontual. Hermila was accepted and, in 2000, at the age of 20,
received the award for best actress in a short film at the 4th Recife Film Festival and the 10th Cine Ceará for this work.
Her first feature film was Cinema, Aspirinas e Urubus, by Marcelo Gomes. | |
