| General info : | | Watchmen was originally a series of 12 comic books, which were soon collected into a highly succesful and influential trade paperback. Since then, the comics' universe has been expanded with prequel and sequel comics by varying authors, a TV series sequel, a film adaptation, motion comics and action figures.
The original series writer Alan Moore has expressed his displeasure with later adaptations and asked that Watchmen not be adapted for future works. | |
