Robert Sullivan is the author of several books, including Rats: Observations on the History & Habitat of the City’s Most Unwanted Residents, The Meadowlands, A Whale Hunt and A Windstorm in Downtown Brooklyn and My American Revolution.
He is a contributing editor at Vogue and A Public Space and teaches writing at Bread Loaf School of English and a science seminar at Hunter College.
He is currently completing a book on 19th-century landscape photography. A native New Yorker, he lived for many years in Brooklyn before moving to Philadelphia.
