| General info : | | J.J. Sánchez-Costa (born in 1944 in Barcelona, ??Spain - died June 2012 in Menorca, Spain (aged 68)) was a Spanish magazine editor.
A journalist through and through, Juanjo Sánchez-Costa wrote about politics in 'El Noticiero Universal' (which his grandfather, Pelayo Costa, directed in the early 1930s) and was part of the Grup Democràtic de Periodistes de Barcelona, ??before moving to Culture in the newsroom of 'El Periódico de Catalunya'.
He served as Magazine Director of Playboy España during the 1980s.
For two decades he was a Culture editor at 'El Periódico de Catalunya', a publication for which he covered dozens of film festivals.
Passionate about the sea and free diving, he met his death while diving in the waters of Menorca, at the age of 68. | |
