General info : Chris Miller (born 1955) is a translator, literary critic and editor. He's a contributing editor of The Warwick Review (2007-2014), twenty-year contributor to European Photography and co-founder of the Oxford Amnesty Lectures. He's worked as a member of the judging panel of the Oxford-Weidenfeld Translation Prize 2006–2009, Institute of Translation and Interpreting, and Editorial Board of European Photography His translation work includes catalogues raisonnés for the Wildenstein Institute (Gauguin, Monet); of exhibition catalogues and books for the Tate Modern, The Getty Research Institute, Getty Museum, MONA, Tasmania, NGV Melbourne, BFAS, etc and for Yale University Press, Skira, Holzwarth, Taschen, Blackwell, Penguin, Viking, etc. especially in the fields of painting, photography and architecture.

Miller worked as a teacher and counselor in non-profit schools with the LA Unified School District. In 1994, he left his career in teaching to pursue his passion for writing and storytelling. Miller worked as a film screenwriter from 1995 to 1997. In 1997, Miller joined The Digital Difference, where worked as a Post Production Supervisor and Producer, and eventually got promoted to President. In 2001, Miller co-founded the Visionbox Media Group. From 2007 to 2010, he worked for National Geographic Films as Head of Production. In 2011, Miller joined Exclusive Media Group as President of Film Finance Operations and President of Spitfire Pictures. Miller and James Burke are co-founders of the film production and distribution company DisruptiveLA. He was first credited in 1998 for The Rugrats Movie (post production) and more recently in 2021-2021 as executive producer for The Drew Barrymore Show (TV Series)
