General info : | | Nicolas De Toth (born August 14, 1960 in Rome, Italy) is an American film editor .
Born in Rome in the early 1960s, the son of Hollywood director André De Toth, he worked from 1991 as assistant editor. As such, until the 2000s, he was involved in such diverse productions as Eye of the Storm (1991), Universal Soldier (1992), and Along Came A Spider (2001).
In 1993 he wrote and directed the movie The Ride. So far this has been his only excursion into directing.
The comedy film Dirk and Betty and Bicentennial Man from 1999 were his first productions, in which he was involved as an independent editor, followed by more than a dozen other films, of which about half fall into the action film genre. | |
