General info :
Medrano is a town in the province of Mendoza, Argentina. It is a shared town between the departments Rivadavia and Juninas as it is located on the border of those two.
It had 2559 inhabitants in 2001.
36 wine growers of the region are grouped in the co-operative cellar Viñas de Medrano since 1988 and control more than 200 hectares of vineyards.
With the help of French winemaker Jean Yves Deyras they managed to create for themselves a disctict, quality brand image.
