Kazue Kobata (born 1949) is a Japanese Professor, Department of Intermedia Art, Tokyo University of the Arts, a longtime Adjunct Curator/Representative in Tokyo for P.S.1 Contemporary Art Center, Committee member, performance space/studio Plan B, an artists' cooperative since 1982. She is an author, translator, curator, producer, and researcher.
She was the Editor of Yu Magazine from 1975-79.
She is a contributing editor to Artforum.
