Hugo Comte (born ca. 1996) is a French fashion photographer, based between Los Angeles and Paris.
His first solo show, Testament, ran through the month of February 2022 at Galerie Hussenot and featured 15 large-scale, narrative images in collaboration with stylist Ibrahim Kamara.
There is also Dear Nikita, the clothing line conceived with Lois Saunders, the British designer behind the label 1xblue.
He studied architecture in Paris, France. At the beginning, photography was a tool to research architecture. Then. it became a tool to express architecture. And then it moved to body and space. Then. he forgot about architecture, and he became a popular collaborator of some of the world’s most photographed women, including Dua Lipa, Bella Hadid and Alek Wek for magazines such as Vogue US, Vogue Italia and Vogue France.
