In this Korean name, the family name is Lee.
Not to be confused with Lee Myung-Hee, the South Korean business magnate and
chairwoman of the Shinsegae Group.


Lee Myung-Hee is a Korean editor. She was named Editor In Chief of Vogue Korea at the time the publication was launched in 1996, a position she held until 2016.
Before Lee made it to the top of the fashion world, she spent 15 years working in different places after graduating university. Lee first worked in a public relations office of a large enterprise until her friend offered her a job as a journalist of a student magazine, “Junior.” Starting from that moment, her long lasting relationship with magazines began. She worked for four magazines before Vogue, namely Junior, Mademoiselle, World Women, and Chic Magazine.

She earned a degree in Mass Communication in 1982.
