Christopher Napolitano (born ca. 1964) is a magazine editor and digital media executive who started his career at Playboy Magazine.
Napolitano’s career at Playboy began when he landed a job as editorial assistant to then fiction editor Alice Turner in 1988.
he worked his way up the masthead, earning a promotion to Associate Staff Editor in 1994. Seven years later, he was named Playboy’s Executive Editor and became Editorial Director, a position he would hold till 2009. From 2009 to 2010 he was the Editor at Large for the magazine.
After two decades at Playboy magazine he became Creative Director at Indian Country Today Media Network (2011 - 2017).
He also founded his own business Napolitano Industries in 2009.
He graduated from Columbia University with a Bachelor's degree in comparative religion in 1986. According to Christopher, sex and religion aren’t incompatible. As far as Napolitano is concerned, life is about learning how to be human, and Playboy’s mission is to teach men what they need to know about sex and romance. “Playboy is a moral place, because it has its own set of ethics—and religion and morality are often tied together” he once told a reporter.
Christopher resides in New York, United States.
