Poudre Teindelys was a brand of face powder distributed by Société Anononyme Des Parfums d'Arys, d.b.a. Arys.
The business boutique was located 3 Rue De La Paix in Paris, France and production took place in 107 Bld. de la Mission Marchand in Courbevoie. For twenty years the company experienced international growth and employed around 100 people.
Arys offered perfumes, soap, creme and powder.
The company was founded by Lucien Graux (1878 - 1944) in 1916.
Société Anononyme Des Parfums d'Arys went public in 1918.
Lucien Graux joined the resistance during WWII but was arrested by the Gestapo in 1944 and he died in Dachau on October 10th 1944.
After his death Arys launched the perfume "Témoignage" in his homage.
The busioness remained active for a decade longer but ultimately disappeard in 1960.
