General info :
Ufilm SPRL (stylized as uFilm SPRL) is one of the subsidiaries of Umedia Group SRL, an international film group based in Brussels, with offices in London, Paris, Los Angeles, and Vancouver.
The company was founded in 2010 in Brussels, Belgium. It was renamed to Umedia Production SPRL in 2014 and once more to Umedia Production SA in 2019.

Nadia Khamlichi, Adrian Politowski and Jeremy Burdek created the Motion Investment Group SPRL and the Cinepartners Belgium One SPRL in 2004 in Brussels. They set up the offices in the basement rooms of one of their friends' grandmothers. Their plan was to set up a fund using Belgium's tax shelter provisions for visiting productions.

In 2010, the group rebranded as uMedia, with business divisions of "uFund (fundraising), uFilm (production and investment), uDream (distribution) and uFX (visual effects)."
Motion Investment Group SPRL was renamed to uFund SPRL in 2011 and to uFund SA in 2016.
Cinepartners Belgium One SPRL was renamed to Infinity Films SPRL in 2010, to Udream Films SPRL in that same year, Umedia Distribution SPRL in 2014 and Umedia Production Services SPRL in 2015.
