Nadia Khamlichi (born May 1979) is a Belgian Co-founder and Chairwoman of Align Pictures US, a production company with headquarters in LA and presence in London, Brussels and Luxemburg. It is backed by a greenlight fund enabling to produce and fully finance features and TV.
She is the Co-founder and previous CEO of Umedia (2004-2019) where she grew the group organically with Adrian Politowski from a 3 people organization into a $100M+ turnover international film group with 200 staff.
She produced over 450 films including such hits as the multi-Academy Award winning "The Artist," "Good Luck to You Leo Grande," "Le Petit Nicholas," "Mandy," HBO's "My Brilliant Friend," "Paws of Fury," "Grace of Monaco," "The Mustang," "Yves Saint Laurent," "La Famille Belier," "What Happened to Monday," to name a few. Her films have garnered 19 Official Cannes Selection (4 wins), 17 Oscar Nominations (7 wins), 77 nominations (22 wins) at the French César Awards, and 21 BAFTA Nominations (10 wins).
She started her career as Head of Business Affairs at SP Films London in 2003 and became CEO of Capricorn Image Product in Brussels in 2003 before co-founding UMedia in 2004.
Nadia holds a Master of Economics and Management, from Solvay Business School (Brussels).
Nadia was married to Adrian Politowski. They have one son, born in 2012.
She resides in the Brussels Metropolitan Area, Belgium.
