Marty Murphy (born September 20, 1933 in Cook County, Illinois, USA- died August 26, 2009 in Los Angeles, California, USA (aged 75)) was a cartoonist and storyboard artist.

Murphy studied at the Chicago Academy of Fine Arts after the Second World War.

He worked extensively in animation at UPA on shorts and on Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol, for which he was one of the main storyboard artists. He later contributed to a number of Hanna-Barbera shows including Hong Kong Phooey, Mumbly and especially Wait 'Til Your Father Gets Home, which was particularly designed in the Murphy style.

Murphy’s first work in Playboy was published in July 1963 and his last was in June 2009. He has had 348 works published in Playboy.

Murphy also worked for Tokyo Movie Shinsha (TMS) on the TV series DuckTales (produced for Disney , 1987) and the feature film Little Nemo: Adventures in Slumberland (1989). In the 1990s he worked again for Hanna-Barbera, for the Tom and Jerry Kids Show (produced for FOX , 1990–1993) and for the feature film Tom and Jerry: The Movie (1993). Murphy also took part in several episodes of the puppet animated film series Bear in the Big Blue House , Jim Henson Company / Disney, 1996–2000.
