Kilpi is a Finnish heavy metal band which sings in Finnish. The band name means shield in Finnish, and is the last name of the band's guitarist and creator Petteri Kilpi. The band's first album, Sähkönsinistä Sinfoniaa, was released on May 28th 2003, some months after their first single "Nerokasta Ikävää".
