Karen Radkai (née Karen Weinisch 8 September 1919 in Munich, Germany - died 19 January 2003, Massachusetts, USA (aged 84)) was a fashion photographer who worked for Vogue during the 1950s to 1970s.
She also worked for Harper's Bazaar and Bride magazine.
Born in Munich, Karen Radkai spent her childhood in Italy and moved to the US in the late 1930s where she arrived in New York. She later lived in Stockbridge, Massachusetts.
She started shooting for Harper's Bazaar in 1949 having previously managed her husband's photo studio. She mostly used a Rolleiflex.

She was the daughter of Adolf Weinisch and Maria M Forstner.
The couple had a son, Marton Radkai, an author specialized in wristwatches.
She was married to fellow photographer Paul Radkai (born Paul Laszlo Radkai or Pal Laszlo Ratkai on August 2 1915, in Budapest, Hungary), one of the first-class Hungarian photographers such as Robert and Cornell Capa, Brassaï and André Kertész. At the age of 19, Paul Radkai emigrated to the USA, where he made a name for himself as a journalist and especially as a photographer.

In the fall of 1949, Paul Radkai and his wife Karen stopped by the Hemingways in Cuba. Paul Radkai actually works mostly in fashion photography at that time, as does his wife for Vogue, but he has also caused a sensation with a series of articles in which he portrays celebrities such as Virgil Thomson, José Limón and Rex Harrison in their domiciles, and later Ernest Hemingway, who was very found of the couple.

Paul Radkai emigrated to Paris with his family in the 1960s and later to Cadaqués on the Costa Brava in Spain.
From Spain, Paul and Karen Radkai continue to write and illustrate in American magazines, such as Look Magazine in November 1966 about The bold new style of Spain, or Vogue Paris during the 1970s.
Paul Radkai died in December 1997, Karen Radkai in 2003 after having returned to the US.
