General info :
Valerio Semplici is an Italian music teacher, clarinet player, writer, arranger and producer, mainly active in the 1980s and 1990s.
He had major success as founding member of Black Box together with co-founders Daniele Davoli and Mirko Limoni.

Valerio Semplici studied music at the Conservatorio G.B.Martini di Bologna and after graduating became a clarinet teacher at the same school from 1972 to 1979.
From 1980 to 1991 he collaborated with classical orchestras in Torino and Bologna, like the Orchestra Del Teatro Comunale di Bologna.
He resides in Reggio Emilia, Emilia-Romagna, Italy.
