Cinemien is a business name used by film distributor ABC Theatrical Distribution BV, a company located in Utrecht, Netherlands since 1999. The company was previously known as Cineship Bioscoop Exploitatie BV and changed its name in 2008 to ABC Theatrical Distribution BV.
The Cinemien name was also used by Amsterdam Brussel Cinemien Distribution BVBA, later renamed to Cinemien BVBA, the Belgian branch of the company. Te latter folded in 2020.

ABC Theatrical Distribution BV acted as the holding of the Belgian company through one of its related companies (ABC Holding BV, ABC Holding II BV).

Cinemien is an independent, all-rights film distributor that has been combining professionalism with a love of films and a good nose for new talent for more than 40 years. In the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Israel, Spain and Sweden they release films in cinemas, on DVD/Blu-Ray, Video on Demand and TV.
The company's head office, ABC Theatrical Distribution BV, is located in Utrecht, and there is also an office in Frankfurt.
In Belgium and Luxembourg, Cinemien was previously doing business as ABC Distribution.

Cinemien buys films at the important international film festivals and the quality of films is paramount in its purchasing policy. Several internationally award-winning films were brought to the public by Cinemien and new, talented filmmakers were given a chance. Cinemien has continued to follow them throughout their career.
A selection of theur best titles is released on DVD under the 'Award Winning Cinema' label.
