Notes :
Dépèche Mode (later stylized as Depeche Mode without the accent) was a French fashion magazine published from the 1970s to 2001. Published by Excelsior Publications, the title is known as the inspiration for the name of the English new wave band Depeche Mode. The magazine has featured journalists such as Marie-Christiane Marek and Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele, and Paquita Paquin as editor-in-chief. In the early 1970s, Deborah Turbeville worked for the magazine as a photographer, as did Paolo Roversi a little later. Melka Treanton, who had previously worked for Jardin des Modes, was then the editor-in-chief. During this period, the magazine favored outdoor fashion photography and supported a whole generation of new designers based in Paris. The publication was then considered "the most avant-garde of fashion magazines".
