Description (by producer & GT in English only) :
Through this acquisition from the company Old Town, Domaines Rollan de By becomes one of the most important properties of the Medoc, both for the quality of its wines and its size - 200 hectares of the exceptional terroir around the area of By.
Domaines Rollan de By is now one of the leaders of the Crus Bourgeois, with four chateaux labeled and four other castles, producing more than one million bottles per year. Distributed in over 50 countries, our wines are also often selected by airlines for their customers, especially in Business Class.
Jean Guyon said "Château Greysac enjoys the same exceptional soils that have made the reputation of Château Haut Condissas and Château Rollan de By, soils having demonstrated their quality."
Old Town : "We owned Château Greysac for nearly 40 years and are pleased to sell it to Domaines Rollan de By, who brings together two beautiful vineyards in a single very coherent estate on all of the best vineyards of Medoc and will continue to produce wines of excellent quality".
