I drunk this 2009 Château L’Arrosée in 2016 and upon opening this was an instant pleaser.

A perfectly balanced warm medium to full bodied wine with massive aromas overwhelming you before you even start to drink. In your mouth you get dried figs, black raspberry, cherry and a long, silky, elegant finish.

It’s the kind of wine everybody will like.

There probably is enough tannins there to keep it for some eight more years but it won’t get better than this.

My rate? 9.4 overall.
