Born in Trieste, Italy, but raised in Germany, Julia found her love for photography after studying visual art in Düsseldorf. Returning to Italy after university, Julia immediately started working on her own as a fashion photographer.
Julia's work has earned her numerous awards including the International Photography Award for Best Portrait Series (2015) and the Lucie Foundation Scholarship (2016). She is also a member of the American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP) and Women Photograph (WP).
Editorially Julia collaborates with titles such as Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue Germany, GQ, Rouge Fashion Book, and British Vogue. Commercially her clients include the likes of Chanel, Ulla Johnson, Fenty Beauty, Mango, and Dior.
