| General info : | | Véronique De Kock (born April 3, 1977 in Antwerp, Belgium) is a Belgian presenter, model, and former singer and actress in the VTM soap opera Familie.
She gained fame through her many appearances in beauty pageants and winning Miss Belgium 1995.
Since 2025, she has also been active as a radio presenter at Nostalgie, where she hosts the morning show Sta op! with Véronique De Kock.
In 1994, De Kock was elected Miss Flanders, after which she was crowned Miss Belgium 1995 at the age of 18. Following this, she competed in the 1995 Miss World pageant, where she finished in thirteenth place. During the Belgian beauty pageant, she stood out for her attempt to hit the right note of the difficult song Without You, originally sung by Mariah Carey.
In 1996 she also competed in the Miss Universe pageant in the United States, where she finished eleventh.
In 2000, De Kock became the organizer of Miss Antwerp.
After her victories as a model, De Kock embarked on a flourishing media career. For instance, from 1998 to 2001, De Kock appeared as Jolien Stijnen, the secretary of Van den Bossche Electronics, in the VTM soap opera Familie.
De Kock could regularly be heard on the radio station Radio Contact.
