In 1919, the Standaard group was created consisting of Standaard Uitgeverij and Standaard Boekhandel.
In 1976 both were split and Stanbdaard Uitgeverij was acquired bij N.V. Scriptoria.
In 1987 Scriptoria became part of the Dutch publishing group WPG Uitgevers.
