General info : Pioneer LDCA, Inc. was a principal subsidiary of Pioneer Electronic Corporation, that operated as a Distributor in the USA. Pioneer LDCA stands for Pioneer Laser Disc Corporation of America. It was one of the two broad-line LaserDisc distributors that really mattered in the U.S., the other one being Image Entertainment (IMAGE). LDCA distributed for virtually all studios and labels, with the possible exception of exclusive Image titles bearing "IM" series catalog numbers. LDCA did not restrict their distribution to only Pioneer Video Manufacuring-pressed LaserDiscs as they also handled products made by 3M and Technidisc Yosuke Kobayashi was President of the company in 1995. By 1995 it had a Music Divison headed by Junichi Miyaji and a Film & Entertainment Division helmed by David Wallace. Sales and Marketing were unified under Director Rick Buehler.
