She is the designer behind 'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire' and 2011’s The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.
Trish Summerville is a graduate of the Fashion institute of design and merchandising. She spent the early part of her career as a stylist and started getting work in film after her meeting a Arianne Phillips and Michael Kaplan. Summerville was an assistant to both Phillips and Kaplan on their respective films Girl Interrupted, and The long Kiss Good Night and The Game. She got her big break as a designer/stylist when she deisned the looks for Maya, Pink, Lil' Kim, and Christina Aguilara for the Lady Marmalde Music Video in 2002.
Trish Summerville won a Costume Designers Guild Award 2012 for Excellence in Contemporary Film for The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and won again in 2014 for Excellence In Fantasy Film for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.
Summerville also continues to work as a stylist for celebrities like Pink and Christuna Aguilara. She also activley styles music videos for people like janety jackson and Justin Timberlake | |
