| General info : | | Alex Kavanagh (Born 6 January 1970, Canada) is a Canadian Costume Designer who designs costumes for Film and Television.
Her credits include"Make Your Move 3D", Skating to New York", “The Vow”, the “Saw” franchise (II - VII), George A. Romero’s “Survival of the Dead”, “Diary of the Dead”, and “Land of the Dead”, “Ginger Snaps” II and III as well as the comedy "Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle".
Alex designed the costumes for the ambitious rock opera “Repo! The Genetic Opera”, The Kid’s in the Hall comedy miniseries “Death Comes to Town”, as well as Vincenzo Natali’s creepy scifi thriller “Splice”.
Her television credits include Disney's "How to Build a Better Boy", "Made: The Movie", and "The Devil's Arithmetic" starring Kirsten Dunst.
Kavanagh also has her own costume studio where she facilitates costume dying and breakdown for film productions named Off With Her Head, Inc.
In 1992 Alex graduated from Dalhousie University with a Certificate of Costume Studies. | |
