| General info : | | René Besson (born as René Alberto Gil-Besson) is a film producer and editor, known for The Mechanic (2011), Homefront (2013) and Drive Angry (2011).
From 2008 to 2013 René acted as Vice President of Production at Nu Image - Millennium Films.
From 2004 to 2008 he created Integrated Brand Promotions for NBC Skycastle, the integrated marketing arm of NBC.
He started his career as Production Executive at Signature Pictures in 2002 and held that postion till 2004.
René is a 1998 graduate from the Full Sail University where he studied Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia and obtained later on a Bachelor's Degree in Entertainment Business.
