La Sept became the French pole of the Franco-German chain Arte on April 30 1991 and became La Sept-Arte on September 27, 1993 and finally got its current name on 1 st August 2000.
The company has subsidiaries in cinema with Arte France Cinéma , in radio with Arte Radio and in publishing (book or multimedia) and production with Arte France Développement. It also participated or still participates in the financing of French and international channels such as TV5 Monde. | |
