Venya Brykalin was born and raised in Odesa, Ukraine. He started his career in local fashion publications, working in sales and creative. After working for a leading fashion brand in Ukraine for three years, he joined the national edition of Vogue as a fashion editor in 2017.
When the Russian invasion of Ukraine began on the 24th of February 2022, Venya was in Milan for Fashion Week and ended up moving to Paris, France. | |
